to all the negatives?

I'm tired of all the messages being
about what's wrong
and so few being about what's right

I'm tired of hearing about war
and murder
and pestilence

I'm tired of hearing about killing
and hurt
and pain

I'm also tired of the good stuff
coming in the guise of reality

why can't we just have some positives?
why can we stress what's good
without being considers schmaltzy?
or sappy?
or wussy?
